Hypotension / shock

BP <90 mmHg or MAP <65 mmHg
-- CBC(Hgb,WBC),CMP(kidny/liver/lytes), lactate, cultures (if febrile)
-- DDX

• shock? septic/cariogenic/obstructive/hemorrhagic/

• adrenal crisis (steroid WD)? Thyroid?

• BP meds? opioids ( can cause)?

Plan

• find cause first

• IVF

• shock -> IVF -> NoreEpi -> ICU

• bleed -> RBC/Massive transfussion

• Adrenal crisis (weakness, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain,) +(Na↓, K↑, glucose↓) HC 100 mg IV

• Stop BP meds, give fluids
